International Widow’s day

Rahvusvahelist leskede päeva peeti esimest korda 2010. aastal ÜRO üldassamblee eestvedamisel. Päeva eesmärgiks on pöörata erilist tähelepanu leskede ja nende laste keerulisele olukorrale, et tagada nende inimõigused ja leevendada nende vaesust. Eesmärgiks on tagada kõigile naistele võrdne osalus ühiskonnas ning see peaks olema sammuke lähemale vaesusevabale ja rahulikule maailmale.

Ideid tegevusteks:

  • Uurige, kuidas toetab Mondo lesknaiste toimetulekut Põhja-Ghanas läbi Mondo Crafts sotsiaalse ettevõtte.
