A mini-model UN will focus on climate change this November

The mini-model UN event will allow youth to focus on economic growth and climate change while imitating the processes inside the United Nations. The event will take place on November 14th during the national youth work week in Tallinn, Vabaduse School, from 14 – 17. Register your participation here.

The theme of the mini-model event this November is “Discussing the balance between boosting economic development and the need to slow down economic growth to combat climate change”.

“Model UN allows young people to tackle climate change issues related to economic growth through roleplay,” says the organiser Meelike Terasmaa, who is a project manager at Maailmakool. The Model UN event is in English and all those interested between the ages of 14 and 19 are welcome.
